It’s thorough, respectful, and designed to give us a clear picture so we can tailor your maintenance plan. And don’t worry — we’ll explain everything we find in plain language.
How often will maintenance visits happen?
You can expect seasonal visits throughout the year, plus any extras your specific plan calls for. Our goal is to stay ahead of issues before they become problems — so you can relax knowing your home is getting the attention it needs, right on schedule.
Can I request specific tasks outside the regular plan?
Of course. Life — and homes — don’t always follow a checklist. If you have a special project or something unexpected comes up, just let us know. We’re flexible, and we’ll do our best to either take care of it ourselves or connect you with the right pro.
What kind of tools or access do I need to provide?
All you need to do is make sure we can safely and easily access the areas we need — like mechanical rooms, basements, garages, or outdoor systems. We bring our own tools and equipment. If there’s anything specific we need from you, we’ll give you a heads-up in advance.
Do I need to be home during visits?
Not necessarily. If you prefer to be home, we’re happy to schedule accordingly. But if you’d rather not be, we can arrange secure access and keep you updated every step of the way. Trust is baked into our process — and so is convenience.
What happens if something unexpected is found during a visit?
We’ll flag it, explain it, and help you decide what to do next. Whether it’s a minor fix or something that needs a little more attention, we’ll walk you through your options and coordinate the solution. Our job is to handle the surprises so you don’t have to.
Can Attend help track long-term repairs or replacements?
Absolutely. We keep a detailed record of your home’s maintenance history, so we can spot patterns, forecast future needs, and make smart recommendations — whether it’s a new water heater or simply noting when your roof might need attention. It’s all part of turning your home into a well-oiled machine.
Membership / Pricing
What’s included in each membership tier?
Each tier offers the same peace of mind — just with different levels of service. All members receive proactive maintenance visits, personalized care plans, and access to trusted local pros. Higher tiers include more frequent visits, expanded services (like seasonal upgrades or specialty systems), and priority scheduling. We’ll help you choose the plan that fits your home and your lifestyle.
How does billing work (monthly, annually)?
You can choose what works best for you. We offer simple, predictable monthly billing and discounted annual billing options. Either way, no surprise charges — just clear pricing and great service.
Is there an additional cost to the house inspection?
Yes — the initial house inspection is a one-time fee. It allows us to assess your home thoroughly so we can build your personalized maintenance plan. It’s a foundational step that sets the stage for everything we do.
Are inspection fees refundable if I don’t move forward with a membership?
We understand things change. While the inspection fee covers real time and expertise, we do not refund the fee — but we’ll leave you with a clear, actionable report you can use however you choose.
How do I modify (upgrade or downgrade) my membership tier?
Easy. Just reach out to us — we’ll review your current plan, talk through your needs, and adjust your membership accordingly. Whether life gets busier or simpler, your plan should fit.
Will I get an itemized summary of services and costs?
Yes. Transparency matters. After every visit, you’ll receive a clear summary of what was done, what we noticed, and what’s coming up. No hidden fees, no head-scratchers — just clean, clear communication.
Can I pause my membership temporarily?
Life happens — vacations, renovations, you name it. You can request a temporary pause on your membership. Just give us a heads-up, and we’ll work with you to adjust your schedule.
What are the cancellation / refund terms?
You can cancel anytime. If you’re on a monthly plan, your service continues through the end of your billing cycle. For annual plans, we’ll refund the unused portion minus any service costs already rendered. No runaround — just a fair and friendly exit if you need one.
Do you offer trial periods or money-back guarantees?
We don’t currently offer a formal trial, but we stand behind our service. If you’re not satisfied in your first 30 days, we’ll work with you to make it right — or refund any unused portion of your membership.
My house doesn't need a particular service, how will it affect my membership pricing?
We build your plan around your home. If you don’t need certain services, we won’t charge for them — and we’ll tailor your maintenance schedule accordingly. Fair is fair.
How does the emergency situations coverage work?
When something unexpected happens, we act fast. Our team will prioritize your issue, assess the urgency, and dispatch help ASAP. Emergency visits may incur an additional fee, but we’ll always discuss costs and options with you upfront.
Are there discounts available for multiple homes?
Yes! If you own more than one property — whether it’s a second home or an investment — we offer multi-property discounts and bundled service options. Let’s talk and find the right fit for your portfolio.
Communication & Tools
Is there an app or online dashboard?
Yes. You’ll have access to a simple, intuitive online dashboard where you can view your maintenance schedule, check service history, request additional tasks, and stay in touch with our team. It’s your home’s digital command center — always available, always easy to use. An app is in the works, too.
How will I be notified about upcoming visits?
We’ll keep you in the loop, every step of the way. You’ll get friendly reminders by email and text before each visit, along with a preview of what we’ll be doing. No surprises — just smooth, reliable service you can plan around.
Can I reschedule or cancel visits easily?
Definitely. Things come up — we get it. You can reschedule or cancel visits directly through your dashboard or by giving us a quick call. We’ll work with you to find a new time that fits your life.
Will I get reports or maintenance logs?
Yes, and they’ll actually make sense. After each visit, you’ll receive a clear, itemized report detailing what we did, what we noticed, and what’s next. These logs live in your dashboard too — so you can always look back, track trends, and plan ahead.
Is my personal data secure?
Absolutely. We take data security seriously. Your personal information is protected using modern encryption and secure systems — and we’ll never share your info without your permission. Your trust is foundational to how we operate.
Tradespeople & Quality
Who exactly will be entering my home?
Only people we know and trust. Every visit is handled by vetted, skilled professionals who’ve been carefully selected by Attend and most of whom work directly for Attend. You’ll know their name, their role, and when they’re arriving — because we believe your home should never feel like a mystery.
Are your tradespeople employees or subcontractors?
We work with a mix of employed and long-term contracted professionals, all of whom are part of the Attend network. Whether they’re on payroll or contracted, they meet the same high standards for skill, reliability, and care. If they’re with us, they’re solid.
Are visits supervised or quality-checked?
Yes. We don’t just do the work — we stand behind it. Each visit is logged, quality-checked, and reviewed by our team. You’ll get a service report, and if something doesn’t meet our standards (or yours), we’ll make it right. No runaround.
What happens if I’m not satisfied with a service?
Tell us — and we’ll fix it. Whether it’s a small tweak or a full redo, we’re here to make things right. We take your feedback seriously, and we won’t consider the job done until you’re comfortable and confident in the result.
Is your team insured and bonded?
Yes. Every professional who enters your home is fully insured and bonded. That’s non-negotiable. Your safety, your property, and your peace of mind are our top priorities — and we’ve built our operations to reflect that.
Location & Availability
When will Attend launch in my city?
We’re growing — thoughtfully and intentionally. Attend is currently available in select areas of Maryland, Virginia and DC, and we’re working on expanding to new regions soon. If we’re not in your city yet, we’re likely planning our way there.
Can I join a waitlist if you’re not in my area?
Yes! We’d love to know you’re interested. Join our waitlist, and you’ll be the first to know when Attend becomes available near you — plus, you’ll help us shape where we go next.
How will I know when you expand to new regions?

Do you work with landlords or property managers?
Yes, we do. We partner with landlords and property managers who want consistent, high-quality upkeep without the headaches. Our model takes the maintenance burden off your plate — keeping your properties in great shape and your tenants happy.
Is there a commercial option for buildings or condos?
